about me

Movement is my medium for expressing thoughts and experiences beyond words. I view movement as an expansion of the soul and a connection point to the innate pulse of the universe that drives our collective consciousness. I am pulled to work that subverts the gender binary, examines the psychology of the human condition and settles in its queerness. I aim to produce movement through experimentation and play, creating phrasework that lives in the balance of stillness versus acceleration. I find that oftentimes the beauty of movement is viewed most authentically through subtlety and the power of quiet presence. In my work, the audience is secondary, the creation of the piece is the primary act of meaning, a conversation between myself and the material.
